Lizzy Curcuru

Lizzy Curcuru was born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana. She graduated high school from Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies. She then earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.

After college, Lizzy returned to the Greater New Orleans area, where she began working at a hospitality parking company. While she started as a corporate assistant, Lizzy took advantage of every opportunity she saw to learn the industry, including working in operations as often as possible. She grew to love the fast-paced world of hotels and working in both the corporate and operational sides of the hospitality industry.

In 2020, Lizzy was furloughed from her job as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, so she decided to leave the hospitality industry and pursue a career in the legal field. While it was difficult for her to leave an industry she loved, she knew her calling was still in serving others. Lizzy joined the Poolson Oden team in August 2020 as the Intake Specialist and Medical Records Coordinator. She loves getting to know clients and their stories and being a listening ear for them at every stage of the legal process.

Lizzy and her boyfriend Antonio are proud pet parents to their 4-year-old German Shepherd named Charlie. They love traveling and spending time outside together.
